My Background
I am an investor and business builder interested in areas experiencing significant change or growth. I worked with some of the world’s largest traditional and alternative asset managers as well as top 10 North American insurance carriers and banks to develop growth strategies and transform their businesses. Before business school at Stanford, I was the youngest director at Apollo, a large alternative asset manager.
My work at Apollo introduced me to the world of alternative asset management, financial institutions, and investing in complexity. Prior to that, I advised on M&A transactions as a consultant.
I also enjoy researching and writing about capital structure. For example, I wrote “How Do Zombies Stay Alive,” a 30-page report on corporate distress and its links to debt markets. I regularly publish on a variety of topics related to financial markets.
