Building Businesses in Financial Services
Ben grows alternative asset management and insurance businesses. He has particular expertise in helping managers navigate opportunities in insurance, permanent capital, wealth, and partnerships with traditional asset managers and other financial institutions.
My Background
I am an investor and business builder interested in areas experiencing significant change or growth. I worked with some of the world’s largest traditional and alternative asset managers as well as top 10 North American insurance carriers and banks to develop growth strategies and transform their businesses. Before business school at Stanford, I was the youngest director at Apollo, a large alternative asset manager.
I also enjoy teaching and writing about various segments of financials services. For example, I guest lecture at West Point Military Academy on investment theory and its application and I publish research such as a 30-page report on corporate distress and its links to debt markets.
